Our house is a beach front home of just under 300 meters 3 floors the first floor (about 55 sq. meters) has a bedroom, a sitting room or a place for a child to sleep and a bathroom with a large shower cabinet. both rooms have sliding glass doors to a deck facing the beach about 5 meters away. If you were a house guest on a non-simultaneous exchange, these rooms would be yours if we were also there. absolute privacy with no-one else on this floor. the second floor (140 sq meters) has a 13 meter by 5 meter living room/sun room and a large gourmet kitchen where you can view the bay while cooking. almost every room in the house has a 180degree view of the bay. there is also a bedroom on this floor (currently used as a hobby room) this floor has a bathroom with a shower. the third floor (90 sq meters) has the master bedroom with a sun room,an office, a large bathroom with a separate toilet, the laundry room and the master walk in closet.
transportation
we have two essentially 2 seater cars. both can accommodate a small child in addition. the oldest car is a small manual shift chevrolet truck you may take this anywhere, anytime. the second is a mb230c kompressor (our play car) and used for long trips. it is less than 2 yeas old. the truck is three years old. both are air-conditioned with cd players etc.
boats
we have an 11 meter sailboat, which in the season, is at the pier. if you can prove qualification we might negotiate it's use. we also keep an inflatable on the pier (in davits) with an outboard for your use. no boat from november to april as the bay is too rough to keep them on the pier. Area Details We are in a resort town the boating capital of the estern shore of the chesapeak bay there are over 1200 boats in marinas here. the best way for you to get details on our area is the web site www.rock hall md.
