We have a lovely 1920 style apartment(it is an old mansion divided into 4) that backs onto a huge shared garden (1200sqm block). We have fabulous waterviews overlooking Woodford Bay (which joins up to Sydney Harbour). There is waterfront access or a jetty at the end of the street (where you can catch the ferry into the CBD - a 10 minute ride). Our house has 3 bedrooms, a marble bathroom with claw foot bath, additional toilet, large living area with fireplace and 3.5 metre ceilings and a 3 year old kitchen that overlooks the garden and water views. We have an teak outdoor setting and large bbq. Area Details We live in Sydney's smallest suburb - a tiny penisular that is surrounded by the Lane Cove River. The area has many heritage protected homes and lots of waterside parks that make for great picnic spots or lovely places to walk. There are tennis courts a five minute walk away, a harbour side beach and boats galore! It is a five minute drive to Lane Cove - where there are lots of great outdoor cafes and boutique shops.There a nine hole golf course less than three miniutes walk away. The Northern Beaches - the closest surf beaches - are a thirty minute drive away. You can also fish from the jetty at the end of our street or canoe up the river to many well known fishing spots. Travel Details There is a bus that leaves from our street into the CBD or to Lane Cove (the nearest village). There is a ferry at the end of the street that goes to the CBD. We are a 5 minute drive from Wollstonecraft rail station.
