The house is situated on the mountain allowing beautiful views, a 10 min walk to the downtown area of town. 2 bedrooms on upper level, office with sunny area, diningroom, livingroom, kitchen, full bathroom, back and front porches on main level, bedroom, full bathroom and laundry in walkout basement. Sloping yard, fairly private, lilac, maple, pine, and cherry trees, small garden. Area Details Rich wilderness, untouched in many ways. Hiker's paradise, skiiers dream, abundance of water- lakes, rivers-, glaciers, mountain biking, many areas to explore for years. Wildlife including bears, eagles, cougars, moose. So much to do and explore in nature for active people. The town is lovely, very artistic community, progressive,open minded and alternative. Travel Details City bus passes front of house, Nelson is on a mountain so walking can be very up and down, but the town is small.
