New Zealand House of the Year featuring heated lap pool on over 1 acre private land of native bush and gardens
New Zealand House of the Year-2001, featuring many architectural innovations. We have no blinds etc as we have no neighbours, but the House is solar heated and has 7 metre high windows of 3 sides of the house to catch the north facing aspect. Single Story of 4 double Bedrooms situated in country aspect on over 1 acre of land surrounded by native bush and paddocks, yet 10 minute walk to nearest town of Taradale.Master bedroom with ensuite which leads to 20 metre heated ingound lap pool that also encompasses a 6m by 5 m deep end and beach area for children or loafing.
The house is in a \"lifestyle block of houses\" which means there is very little car traffic, with the house some 50metres from the road During the summer, we have most of our meals outside on the large 60m2 deck surrounding the lap pool.
Boogie boards, bikes, beach chairs, beach towels are available
Computer with high speed DSL access and plenty of books, including fiction, non-fiction, travel and sailing.
All bedrooms have Tv and Sky access, with the large plasma situated in the open plan living area
We have a house cleaning service every week, and will have the house cleaned during the exchange and when you leave.
Our home would be comfortable for a family of 4 or 5.

Hawkes Bay is situated on the East Coast of New Zealand and is renown for its beaches-seafood-and Vineyards.Comprising two main cities of 60,000 each, plus two smaller towns of Taradale and Havelock North. Napier is the Art Deco capital of the world and contains the famous Marineland and National aquarium
Our neighborhood is quiet, but is only a ten minute walk to the shops, resaturants and night life of Taradale, or a 8 minute drive into Napier or Hastings
We have a very friendly neighborhood and we make every effort to get you to meet our friends and neighbors, who are available to help with questions and get you aquainted with the area.
