Lakes, mountains,blue skies, fresh air, fishing,boating walking or skiing in winter.If this appeals to you then our 3 bedroom holiday home is definitely worth a closer look!.Overlooking Lake Dunstan with direct access to the beach this unpopulated part of the world is surrounded by lovely hills..ideal for walking or biking and boasts some of the best scenery in the world and a very popular golf course. Close to Queenstown, a popular tourist haven.Vineyards abound and the trout fishing is great. In winter, we are within 50km of several great skifields.We have over half an acre of land with lovely garden to enjoy. There are some wonderful walks through old mining areas and generally the whole area is an unspoilt paradise. Area Details Central Otago has really the best scenery in NZ if not the world. Hot in summer..20-30C and cold in winter for skiing. Only 1 million people live in the whole South Island and Cromwell has only 3500 permanent residents. It is now a very rich wine producing area with our Pinot Noir becoming world reknowned.It is a haven for outdoor people with the wonderful rivers and mountains and yet there are many artists who reside in Cromwell to capture the landscape. In summer it doesnt get dark until around 10pm allowing plenty of time to relax and enjoy. Travel Details Bus travels through Cromwell daily although we are happy to swap a car.
