Property Details
Our home is located on the False Creek waterfront, right at the entrance to Granville Island. We offer a 2100sf (approx 200sm) suite, on the top floor of a four storey building, with elevator access and underground, secure parking.

We have two bedrooms, each fully ensuite with its own outside deck. Overall we have three decks, three full bathrooms, and two wood burning fireplaces. We include two offices with wireless internet access. Our kitchen is state-of-the-art, with granite countertops and all that is required to be an at-home gourmet.

Our apartment overlooks a fresh water lagoon to the south (ducks, herons, gulls) . To the west we look along the seawall (walkway and bike path) towards Kitsilano Beach (about five minutes bike ride) , and to the north, we look across the False Creek yacht basin and Granville Island to the lights of downtown and the north shore mountains.
Area Details
We walk to the Granville Island market once or twice a day to forage for our food. It offers all the fresh fish, meat and vegies that one could possibly imagine. The Island also has four live theatres, five restaurants, a major art school, and dozens of craft stores.

We are alse right beside the 'cooking school' where great meals are served by budding chefs.

We often take a passenger ferry across False Creek, and walk downtown, or to Stanley Park. Most mornings, we go on the seawall and bike around Stanley Park and False Creek, stopping in any of several places for a morning muffin, coffee, and a newspaper.

In the evenings, we catch restaurants along 4th Avenue (ten minutes walk) , south Granville (ten minute walk) , or Broadway (10-20 minute walk) . Mainstream and repertoire movie theatres, and live theatres are all within 10-15 minutes.

Granville Island also offers fishing and boating charters. Several boats offer evening dinner/cruises, and it would take you less than five minutes to walk to their berth
Travel Details
Although we have three secure underground parking spots, we rarely use a car...preferring to walk/bus/taxi/bike to our various urban attractions.

The little ferries across False Creek offer an elegant way to go into the downtown area.

The nearest bus stop is 100m...and taxis will be at the doorstep within about five minutes of a call.
