Our home (built in 1986), has 4 bedrooms (2 with full ensuite bathrooms), separate living and dining rooms, open-plan kitchen/family room and a large recreation room with pool table and reading area on the lower (garden) level. The property is large and private, west facing and very sunny, with a creek running through the back of the garden. Area Details West Vancouver is considered by many to be the "best" neighbourhood in Vancouver. It reminds me of Hampstead, leafy nd secluded with a decidedly Village atmosphere. Our street is particularly quiet, yet only a few minutes walk to shops, restaurants, galleries, parks, the ocean and beaches. There are many recreational activities within 30 minutes drive; golf, tennis, fishing,sailing, hiking, and skiing in winter. It is a 15 minute car-ride to downtown Vancouver – well, OK, 30 minutes if you insist on traveling during the morning and evening business “rush-hour” times! Travel Details There is a bus stop within a couple of blocks if you prefer not to drive. Service into downtown Vancouver is about every 20 minutes
