This is a stunning, luxury, 1st floor apartment in a peaceful village which has the "wow" factor. Enjoy uninterrupted views over the beautiful Dundrum bay and the Mountains of Mourne - recognised as an "area of outstanding natural beauty". You would find it difficult to find a more spectacular view anywhere in Northern Ireland. The view constantly changes as the tide goes in and out but should you tire of it, you can enjoy beautiful walks to Dundrum castle, the Mourne Mountains, Castlewellan castle and lake or to the nature reserve of Murlough Bay and its wonderful wildlife and beaches. You are also a short drive to Strangford Lough. The apartment is south-facing and is bright and sunny all day long. It has a large open plan kitchen, living and dining area and balcony so you can enjoy the views while you cook, eat or relax! One of the bedrooms is ensuite with a king size bed and views of the bay (fabulous for enjoying the sunrise), the second has a double bed and the third two single beds. There is a lift to the apartment should you need it. If you enjoy wildlife this is a fantastic spot for bird-watching and spotting the seals swimming up and down the bay. We guarantee that you would enjoy your stay here at any time of the year. Area Details Peaceful village in a rural location yet with everything you would need for your holiday - small supermarket, garage, beauty salon, antique shop, coffee shop, Irish pubs, award-winning restaurants (the Dundrum bay mussels are not to be missed!) You are within a short drive to some of the top tourist destinations in the north of Ireland - Mourne Mountains, Spelga Dam, Murlough Nature Reserve, Castlewellan Castle and park, Strangford Lough, Downpatrick. You can enjoy bird-watching, hiking/walking, swimming, mountain climbing, golf, fishing, horse-riding, kayaking,mountain biking...the list goes on! Travel Details A short bus or car ride away (2.5 miles) takes you into Newcastle which has an excellent selection of shops and a wide range of outdoor activities. Belfast and Newry are just 45 minutes drive away and there you can find many excellent shops and attractions. This would also be an excellent base to travel around Ireland (Dublin 2 hours drive), UK or even Europe with cheap flights from Belfast to London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Paris, Rome, Geneva, Prague, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Malaga, Corfu, Canary Islands and many others.
