Property Details The house is spread over 3 floors, with bedrooms in the roof in what was the originally the granary.Our field is used by our neighbour as pasture for some beautiful Normandie cattle. They are separated from the garden by a fence, but love to be fed apples from the garden. There is plenty of wildlife including birds of prey, deer,hares, bats, hedgehogs and red squirrels. Area Details We are a few hundred metres from the village centre with an excellent cheap cafe providing a 4 course meal with drinks included for about 10 euros.We are about an hour to Bayeux`and the Normandy landing beaches of 1944(books and info available at the house).Driving west a similar distance is Granville and Mont St Michel Travel Details None in the immediate area. From the station at Flers, about 12 kms away there are direct trains to Paris.Driving time to Paris is about 3 hours and possible in a day. The nearest ferry to England is from Caen to Portsmouth and just over an hour away.Very quiet back roads bikes and a tandem available!
