Property Details
The flat is in converted Victorian Children's hospital so the building is beautiful and has a lot of character. The flat itself has huge windows and double-height ceilings. It is very contemporary but with original features (like the windows). The main bedroom is in a mezzanine; it has an L shaped living room/dining room. The couch is pull-out and very comfortable. There is also a little study. The kitchen and bathroom are each in a turret! they have lots of windows and amazing views over London. Area Details The neighbourhood is extremely convenient--shops and cafes abound, it is leafy and has a few nice pubs. It is an up-and-coming neighbourhood with a mix of families and a little organic market around the church next door on Saturday mornings. A couple of tube stops (we are across the road from the tube!) get you to trendy Borough market and Southbank, the West End or Westminster. Most of these are in fact within walking distance. The area is busy without being touristy. Travel Details Across the street from tube and on major bus lines.
