Property Details Our Victorian house overlooks the spectacular Belhaven Bay and the Bass Rock. There is lots of space both inside and out. It is very peaceful. There are 2 double beds and 8 single beds and we have a cot for babies. There is a large kitchen and dining room as well as a drawing room, library and play room. We have central heating as well as open fires and woodburning stoves. We have internet access. Area Details The area is literally across the road from the John Muir Country Park, an area known for its outstanding beauty and birdlife. You can walk from the house round the beach and the park where you can see flocks of migratory birds and volleys of swans. The beach is also a surfer's paradise with lessons for all ages taking place throughout the summer. There are 23 golf courses in East Lothian, all within 40 minutes drive of the house. There is a fantastic family friendly swimmimg pool in Dunbar as well as a great play park. In dunbar you will also find shops cafe's and galleries. There is also Tantallon Castle nearby, and other archeological sites. Trips into Edinburgh to visit the Castle and the other tourist attractions are easy by train (25 mins) or car (45 mins). Travel Details There is a good train service to Edinburgh from Dunbar. There are also buses regularly.The airport is 45 minutes.
