Property Details Come and enjoy our nearly new top (3rd) floor apartment in the tropical city of Darwin. We have 2 bedrooms (one is used as a study with computer and internet access) a comfortable living room and spacious balcony. Area Details Our apartment is situated within easy walking distance of the Darwin city centre and the Cullen Bay Marina with its excellent selection of waterside restaurants. Darwin has 2 seasons - the wet and the dry. The wet is a wild time of year with high humidity, spectacular storms and rain showers during the afternoons or at night and runs from October to May. The rest of year offers beautifully warm sunny days without the humidity of the wet season. Top temperatures year round are in the region of low to mid 80s. The heritage listed Kakadu National Park is 3 hours south east of the city. The town of Katherine with the world famous Katherine Gorge is a 3 hour drive south of Darwin on the Stuart Highway (which leads to Alice Springs and onto Uluru/Ayers Rock). Litchfield Park with its beautiful waterfalls and swimming holes is just 90 minutes drive. Darwin is served by an International airport with daily direct connections to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Bali. Domestic connections to all major Australian cities depart several times a day. Travel Details Yes, with a bus stop just around the corner. The Darwin Tour Tub departs from the city centre hourly with tours of the city and its' highlights.
