One year old house situated in small vilage, 1/2 hr drive from edge of Edinburgh. We have three children ages 11, 9 and 7. Area Details Broughton is in the Upper Tweed Valley, and is a designated area of landscape value. We are surrounded by hills (excellent walking), and there are gold courses, swimming and tennis nearby. Access to Central Scotland (Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth, St Andrews) is possible within 1.5hrs by car. The Edinburgh Festival and many of Scotland's championship golf courses (Turnberry, Troon, St Andrews, Gleneagles, Muirfield) are all readily accessible. Travel Details There is limited public transport available, and a car is necessary (car swop is possible).
