Our flat is in an elegant complex of about 10 buildings, encircling a large green area which also comprises a private play-ground for children. It consists of two bedrooms, a good-sized box-room which is excellent for storage, one large bathroom, kitchen, entrance hall and living room with a large balcony. Extra storage space is provided by a private cellar in the basement of the building. The flat, which is on the ground floor, is very light and sunny, and in excellent condition throughout. Area Details Desenzano del Garda is not only a beautiful tourist resort, but also a lively medium-sized city which offers a lot to those who live there on a permanent basis. Its excellent transport connections (the town lies near the railway line and the motorway connecting Venice, Padua, Verona, Brescia and Milan) make it a suitable place for commuting to major cities, while enjoying the beauty and calm of the lakeside. It takes just over one hour to reach the centre of Milan, 20-30 minutes to get to Brescia, and 30 minutes to Verona.
The flat itself is literally a few steps away from a beach and a waterfront promenade that takes you to the beautiful, historic town centre of Desenzano in just five minutes.
