Our house is an extreemly cosy 2 level property with exposed rafters, slate & polished timber
floors a large fully decked out kitchen & split level entertainment/lounge
area & a large deck looking directly east towards the ocean. The master bedroom wakes up to a view of the coast each morning & has
a lovely ensuite. We have two spare bedrooms plus a large study. Area Details We are 15 mins drive from
the beach & the hub of the coast . I guess you could say we are on the first
"mountain" behind the tourist strip, but consequently have some amazing
views & peace & quiet. The other big plus to our area is its relatively
close proximity to the main highway. The Pacific highway is the quickest
route to Brisbane (45 mins), Sunshine coast (2 hrs) or Fraser island (4 hrs)
in the North, or Tweed Coast (45 mins) or Byron Bay (1.5hrs) etc heading
South. Tonnes of canals & waterways all around for boating, fishing, diving
etc. We have a Volvo Station wagon available for use.
We live in Worongary, which is a rather large suburb split into a suburban &
rural zone. We live in the suburban area, which is close to Nerang (a suburb
you may be able to easily find on a map). Tonnes of shops & close to some
amazing mountains & forests & tonnes of world class golf courses. This area is sometimes referred to as the "The
Gold Behind the Gold" or the "Golf Coast".
