Our three storey brick, fully renovated Victorian backs onto the Niagara Escarpment greenbelt area, 100 meters above the city with a breathtaking view of Burlington Bay, the Skyway Bridge and the Toronto skyline, sixty kilometers across Lake Ontario.
The main floor consists of a formal living room with gas fireplace and leather furniture, a large family dining room with pine antiques and a Roland digital piano and a smaller but very modern kitchen with every imaginable appliance. Our favourite room is the family room - an enclosed porch at the rear with picture windows providing a marvellous view of the city, the bay and the lake. This room features an entertainment wall with 56 inch projection TV, 80 channel cable reception, VCR, DVD, and stereo. The family room opens onto a spacious wooden deck with a natural gas BBQ and patio furniture. The Niagara Escarpment, which falls off several hundred feet at the rear of the property, adds an element of privacy to the treed back yard. A full bath and an entrance foyer complete the main floor space.
The second floor features a large master bedroom with King Size bed and TV. Its bay windows overlook a small open verandah facing the front garden and the tree-lined street, a quiet cul-de-sac. There is a study with bookshelves,an antique desk and computer with high speed internet access. A full bath with a jetted Jacuzzi tub and an enclosed porch with day bed overlooking the lake are also located on the second floor.
The third floor houses two very private bedrooms with beamed ceilings. There is a double bed in one and twin beds in the other. The rear bedroom again has that wonderful view. The third floor has its own full bath.
The basement is unfinished but contains the laundry room and a workshop area and there is an attached garden shed accessed by a side door and a carport.
