Our historical home (100 yrs old) has been beautifully renovated while keeping the historical nature of the 1890's. We live in Palo Alto, next to Stanford, a college town. You will have pleasant walks to the lively restaurants and theatres while also being able to walk to a creek that is home to wildlife and wonderful native trees. Complete Home Amenities: completely equipped kitchen, linens, supplies, and pantry. We have 4 bicycles, lots of toys for children ages 3-11, a backyard with a grape arbor and hammock, an organic vegtable and herb gardens. Our 12 year-old cat is a loving, sweet pet who sleeps indoors at night.
We have 3 large bedrooms, 2 complete baths, dining room, living room, kitchen, and a home office with a computer and Internet access. Area Details Palo Alto is 45 kilometers south of San Francisco and is next to Stanford University. The town has many quaint shops and restaurants within walking distance. There is a large park (100x60 meters) in front of our home. The park has a playground for children, picnic tables, a large grass area for informal soccer games, a volleyball court and a small basketball court. Two blocks from our home is a Farmers Market every Saturday. Ten minutes from our home is a community swimming pool for children. Travel Details We live 4 blocks from a train station that goes to San Francisco and San Jose. There is a free bus shuttle for the town of Palo Alto.
