Northwest style: multi level with lots of wood and windows, spacious and beautiful yet family friendly. 3 bedrooms (master with fireplace), 3 bathrooms, spacious kitchen with all modern appliances and open to dining room and sitting area with fireplace..great for entertaining. Living room with fireplace and music system, theater room with big screen tv,dvd,vcr,play area and lots of toys. Lawn area surrounded by large trees, deck with patio furniture, small enclosed rear yard. Home is child safe. Plus, great babysitter next door! Quiet, safe location, perfect as a base to explore the Northwest USA and B.C.Canada. Our neighbors are quite friendly and will be happy to welcome you. Area Details We are in an upscale suburb of Seattle, 20 minutes from city center. Seattle is a wonderful city to explore. We have cultural entertainment (Opera, Symphony, Art Museum, Galleries, Elegant shopping and restaurants, excellent golf courses) plus a wide range of natural environments. Take a ferry to the San Juan Islands, hike in the Cascade mountains, ski in winter (both downhill and cross-country-one hour away), visit Mt. St. Helens volcano, take a day trip to Vancouver or Victoria. For families, Seattle and the Northwest is very child-friendly. Tons of special activities and destinations including the famous Seattle Center(approx. 20 minutes drive) with amusement rides, children's museum, children's theater,science center, and of course the Space Needle! We have a 7 year old and can put together a great family guide. We have a wonderful bike and walking trail system (Burke-Gilman Trail) only 5 minutes from our home, where you can ride or walk for miles along the shore of Lake Washington. Travel Details Nearby park and ride for bus service all over Seattle area.
