Home to Northwest Coastal Indian tribes that have created and maintained a rich hertiage for all to observe. Sport fishing abounds with short season license for vistors. Sitka black tail deer and black bear can be hunted with an over the counter license while big game require guides. There are 92 hiking trails off our limited highway system and whale watching from shore or charters is possible. Many paired bald eagles soar in front of our place on the lookout for fish in the tidal[ upto 20+feet] channel below. Travel Details Bus stop at the foot of drive, about 300 feet, that is part of city wide system.
